Mother Thunder was born from a creativity exercise in my Graphic Design Fundamentals class. The goal of the exercise was to practice being creative with a word board. The way that a word board works is that you think of a word, let's say apple, and think of more words associated with it.

I knew immediately that this was going to be a fun project. But what kind of product would I come up with?
I really liked the concept of a vegan energy drink, so I decided to go down that route. But what about a name?
Mother Thunder was a great name to me because it was a play on Mother Nature, and it's also just simply fun to say.
So with that taken care with, it was time to move onto the final branding pieces. For the brand, since I only had an hour for everything, I just decided to base it off of a vaporware aesthetic to emulate the energy of the 90's Pokemon cards we received.
